Our company contracts with attorneys who have been in private practice for more than five years. It is our belief that you should have your own attorney, in your hometown that you can contact directly to set your own appointment for your dealings. That is how U.S. Legal Services, Inc. operates. Other companies may not allow you this type of access to your attorney. With some companies, you are required to call their home office to apply for permission to speak with an attorney. In other instances, some plans only provide one or two legal firms within an entire state so you must deal with these attorneys on a long distance basis. We feel you are far better served by having your own full-time, local attorney that you may contact directly without asking permission from us. Simply call the attorney you have selected, identify yourself as a Plan Member and your legal needs will be handled professionally and confidentially.
